About
Plastic People/SupremeLoveStory was one of the first internet-based
custom bag companies. I started it around 1997 and it has gone
through many transitions over the years.
The early bags were made of vintage vinyl from the 60's & 70's and
the
styles ranged from small disco bags to dj bags. They were sold online and
in record shops and boutiques around the country, all made by hand in Miami,
Florida.
As business grew, I needed to move manufacturing to Asia.
The latest bags were girly laptop
bags mass-produced in China under
the name SupremeLove Story.
My Role
I founded this company and designed everything from the bags to the websites and all marketing materials. I sourced all materials and hardware as well as liasoned with manufacturers in China and Indonesia.
